AECL Receives Honors at the NACTA Conference

STILLWATER, Okla. — The Oklahoma State University Department of Agricultural Education, Communications and Leadership faculty and students were well represented at the recent North American Colleges and Teachers of Agriculture virtual conference in June.
Dr. Quisto Settle, AECL assistant professor, received the NACTA Educator Award, and former graduate students Linnea Langusch and Katelyn Miller received NACTA Graduate Student Teaching Awards.
OSU AECL alumni Alyssa Rockers and Colby Gregg, also received NACTA Graduate Student Teaching Awards, and Dr. Shelly Sitton, AECL professor, served as chair of the Membership and Public Relations Committee.
Dr. Settle and Dr. Holli Seitz, Mississippi State University assistant professor, also presented a research poster titled “Using experiential learning to help undergraduates understand the science of science communication.”
