My name is Huishan and I'm from Guangdong, China. I came to OSU to pursue my PhD. Motivated by curiosity for plant science, I joined Dr. Feng Feng's lab in August 2021. Currently my research is focused on the crosstalk between plant immune and symbiotic signaling in Medicago trancatula. Prior to that, I received my MS from Sun Yat-Sen University, where I began working with ubitquitin-proteasome pathways and hypoxia in Arabidopsis thaliana. Outside of the lab, I enjoy photography, airshows and having fun with my kitty.
