Sean Gile

Graduate Student Sean Gile

Sixth year PhD candidate in Dr. Robert Matts lab. My research is focused on the molecular chaperone Heat shock protein 90 (Hsp90) as a potential target for cancer treatment. More specifically I aim to: (1) characterize novel effects of Hsp90 inhibition on cellular processes and (2) complete a comprehensive comparative analysis of different classes of Hsp90 inhibitors in cancer cell culture.
