Postdoctoral Fellow Yongfang Li

I am currently a postdoctoral fellow in Dr. Sunkar’s lab. I got my bachelor and master degree from college of life sciences, Henan Normal University, China, and Ph.D majored in plant molecular biology from Ben Gurion University of the Negev, Israel. I had served as a lecturer and associate professor in Henan Normal University for decade. My research interest is using multiply -omics to study the molecular mechanisms associated with plant responsive to various abiotic stresses. My previous working experience under Dr. Hartson’s supervision make me confident to study protein-RNA/DNA and protein-protein interaction. My current project is to understand the gene expression regulation under stress conditions at transcription, post-transcription and translation levels use high-throughput sequencing techniques, such as Chip-Seq, small RNA-Seq, RNA-Seq, Ribo-Seq and Cap-Seq.
