Lei Lei joined the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in Feb of 2020. Before this position, she worked as a post-doc researcher in Dr. Yan’s lab in the Department of Plant and Soil Sciences. She graduated from Oklahoma State University with a doctoral degree in Crop Science focusing on Wheat Molecular Genetics. She moved to the Core Facility as a senior research specialist in 2020. Her main job in the Core Facility was doing Sanger DNA sequencing. Lei has successful experience in molecular biology.
