About International Agriculture
Program's Purpose:
ADVANCE INTERNATIONAL AGRICULTURE
The Master of International Agriculture Program is a multidisciplinary degree program,
preparing students for a successful career in global agriculture. Blending theory,
practical knowledge, and hands-on experience, the program prepares students to make
a significant contribution to the field of international agriculture.

2008
Dr. David Henneberry creates MIAP and students start coursework in the fall of 2008.
2013
MIAP earns approval to offer specific International Agriculture courses listed as
AGIN.
2014
MIAP begins offering a Master of Science degree option in addition to the Master of
Agriculture degree.
2015
MIAP becomes a part of the Academic Common Market.
2017
MIAP launches its online degree program allowing students from all across the world
to join the program.
2018
MIAP celebrates ten years as a program at Oklahoma State University.
