This course gives students the opportunity to learn first-hand about food challenges and opportunities in the South Pacific where issues such as remoteness, small markets, climate change, public health and high costs complicate the local food landscape. Students will gain a better understanding of how initiatives taken by local farmers, NGOs and the government contribute to providing nutritious food for the local population.
