Course Learning Outcomes

Students will gain an understanding of the systems of agriculture in Namibia and the unique challenges presented by disease vectors, socio-cultural differences and an ever-changing climate.

  • Visit farms, wildlife preserves, coastal Namibia and experience a memorable cheetah encounter.
  • Delve into the history, international trade, OneHealth and environmental features of Namibia.

  • AG 3803 Study Abroad Course in Agriculture and Natural Resources (I); Dimensions of OneHealth in Namibia (3 credit hours with I designation*)

  • AGIN 5990 Advanced Studies in International Agriculture and Natural Resources; Dimensions of OneHealth in Namibia (3 credit hours, graduate level)

 

*Undergraduate students at Oklahoma State University are required to take a class that carries an I designation for graduation purposes.
