The Oklahoma State University agricultural leadership program is among the most respected in the nation. Our program provides a strong appreciation of agriculture and natural resources coupled with a deep understanding of leadership theory and its application. Our graduates serve as leaders and integral team members in the agricultural industry.

  • What is advising like in agricultural leadership?

    Agricultural leadership advisers, like all advisers in the Ferguson College of Agriculture, are faculty who advise, teach courses and are involved professionally in the ag leadership field. Advisers assist students in identifying their career objectives and in reaching career preparation goals.

     

    Our program is known for our laid back, family atmosphere, which is evident in the close relationship between and among our faculty and students. It just takes one visit to see "There is something special about the 4th floor of Ag Hall."

    We have a wide range of student organizations to assist students in gaining the leadership, interpersonal and professional skills needed for a successful career and personal fulfillment.
