I am a graduate student in Dr. Yong Cheng’s lab, and I am working towards my Ph.D. degree. I am from Edmond, Oklahoma, and I completed my bachelor’s degree in microbiology at Oklahoma State University in 2023. As a first-year undergraduate, I joined Dr. Cheng’s lab where I found an interest in the research field. My current research focus includes understanding host-pathogen interactions in tuberculous and non-tuberculous mycobacterial infections. Outside of the lab, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, finding new shows to watch, and listening to music.
