Results and Award Information
Protests
If sufficient evidence emerges that a discrepancy exists in the results, the following protest procedure will be followed:
- All protests should be directed to the General OSU CDE Superintendent.
- All protests must be in writing, outlining the specific reason for the protest.
- To be considered, all protests must be received by the General OSU Superintendent by noon the first Monday following the State FFA Interscholastic event.
- In the event of a protest, the official results for the event in question will be pending until the general superintendent confers with the event superintendent to resolve the issue.
- Results will become official by noon on the Tuesday immediately following the State FFA Interscholastic Events, unless an unresolved protest remains. Protests that are pending will be marked as such on the table below until they are resolved.
Official Results
Contest results will become official on the Tuesday immediately following the State FFA Interscholastic Events by noon unless there is an unresolved protest. Until that time, all results will be unofficial and subject to change.
Official results will be distributed to:
- Agricultural Education Division, Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education
- Academic Programs, Ferguson College of Agriculture
- Official results will be posted to the Judging Card website
Awards
For team events, the three highest-ranking teams will receive trophies for first, second and third place. For events with individual scoring, individual medals will be presented to the three high-ranking individuals (for all contests except Chapter Meeting Events, Agricultural Issues, Marketing, Food Science and Technology and Quiz Bowl. These events are team events only.) For Agricultural Issues, Marketing, Food Science & Technology and Quiz Bowl, the members of the first place team each will receive an individual medal.
Award Presentations
Parliamentary Procedure
Winners of the Senior and Junior Parliamentary Procedure competition will be recognized
at the awards ceremony the Friday before State FFA Convention. Oklahoma State University
also will present the top three teams a trophy on the stage at the State FFA Convention
on the Wednesday of State FFA Convention.
Public Speaking
Winners of the Public Speaking events will be recognized at the awards ceremony the
Friday before State FFA Convention. Oklahoma State University also will present the
first, second and third place winners an individual medal on the stage on the Wednesday
of State FFA Convention.
Career Development Events
The Career Development Event Awards Breakfast will be held the Wednesday of State
FFA Convention.
Team Awards
Oklahoma State University will provide trophies for the first, second and third place
team. An OSU official will present the first place team their trophy on the FFA State
Convention stage the Wednesday of State FFA Convention. Pictures of first place teams
will be taken ("official dress" is required). Trophies for second and third place
teams will be presented at the State FFA Convention immediately after the stage presentations.
First place team members for Agricultural Issues, Marketing, Food Science & Technology, Parliamentary Procedure and Quiz Bowl will receive individual medals from Oklahoma State University. These team medals are only given for "team-only events" (ie. when the event does not allow individuals to compete for individual medals).
Individual Awards
Oklahoma State University will provide individual medals to the three high-ranking
individual contestants in each contest with an individual competition (Note: Parliamentary
Procedure, Agricultural Issues, Marketing, Food Science and Technology and Freshman
Agriscience I Quiz Bowl are team events only). An OSU official will present the first,
second and third place individual his or her medal on the FFA State Convention stage
the Wednesday of State FFA Convention.. Pictures of the top three individuals will
be taken ("official dress" is required).
