Agricultural Education

It's never been more important to understand how agriculture and natural resources impact our lives through the quality and abundance of our food supply, personal health, the environment, our economy and national security. The agricultural education major at OSU empowers you to become one of our future teachers, giving you the potential to build a network of strong professionals at the local, state and national levels.

Agricultural Communications

Today’s fast-paced, consumer-driven society requires accurate, timely communication between agricultural leaders and the public. By choosing a degree in agricultural communications, you will study in one of the nation’s best programs and learn from award-winning faculty members with industry experience who are devoted to students and their successes.

Agricultural Leadership

The power to motivate people is essential to any organization. As an agricultural leadership student, you will graduate with a solid foundation in leadership as it relates to effectively working with people and teams from diverse backgrounds and experiences. You can take advantage of the major’s flexibility to customize your coursework according to your career interests.

The entire Cowboy Journal - writing, editing, layout, design, photography, ad sales and everything in between - is produced by ag comm students in a senior capstone course.
