Charles & Linda Cline Equine Teaching Center
Our Facility
The Charles and Linda Cline Equine Teaching Center is a state-of-the-art equine teaching facility located on approximately 60 acres, including six native and bermuda grass pastures that range in size from five to 20 acres.
The equine facility has a teaching barn, small indoor arena, outdoor arenas, classrooms, feed and tack rooms, a wash rack, and treatment area, as well as a building dedicated to the breeding program.
The facility is located at 2601 West McElroy, Stillwater, Oklahoma 74074.
Our Purpose
The OSU equine center is primarily used for teaching purposes. Students attend classes at our facility and are able to get hands-on training. We offer an outstanding equine breeding and foaling program. Extension equine events are also hosted at our facility. We have horses available for sale each year.

Our Herd
The equine herd is primarily Quarter Horses, with the size fluctuating year to year based on the number of offspring. These horses are used for a variety of activities encompassing research, teaching and Extension. The goal is for every horse to be used in some activity.
Our Teaching
A variety of equine related courses are held at our equine center. Students interested in an equine related career can pursue a degree in animal science. We also offer a certificate program in Equine Enterprise Management.
