Food Science Graduate Program
Food Science Graduate Program
"Educating to optimize the safety and quality of food from production to plate."
The study of food science includes all types of food, such as dairy products, fruits
and vegetables, meat and poultry, and further processed foods you find in grocery
stores and restaurants. Majoring in food science at OSU prepares you to optimize the
safety and quality of food from production to plate.
The food science graduate program is built upon the principles of academics and research.
One of the aspects of our program that makes us unique is our access to the Food and
Agricultural Products Center. FAPC provides a dynamic research environment for graduate
students seeking hands-on application of their education.
