The Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department in OSU's Ferguson College of Agriculture
provides students with a family like atmosphere that encourages them to achieve their
goals.
As a Biochemistry and Molecular Biology major, you are encouraged to participate in
a guided research experience. You can become involved with a research laboratory as
early as you wish, even in the Freshman year. Our advisors will help you apply for
summer research internships nationwide, and our professors will draw on their experience
to provide you with both research training and personal mentoring.
Delta Nu Alpha (DNA) or better known as the Biochemistry Club and Students of Osteopathic
Rural Medicine (StORM) give students a chance to get involved with faculty mentors
and other like-minded students.
