Our Undergraduate Program
Welcome
to one of the largest and closest-knit departments on campus.
OSU has the fifth largest animal science department in the country. Students receive
hands-on experience on our farms and research facilities encompassing 13,000 acres.
Curriculum is designed to give students the opportunity to learn concepts in the classroom,
then apply those concepts on working farms, food facilities, and/or research labs.
Our Majors
Animal Science and Food Science
Within our department, a student can earn a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Sciences
and Natural Resources (BSAG) in either animal science or food science.
